Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and Boyo Inc. for using the Boyo app and site. Using Boyo means you accept them.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use Boyo. Keep your credentials to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility. Give us an email address that works — it's how we reach you about your account.
Your content stays yours
You own the trips, photos, videos, notes and comments you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize and display them for the purpose of running Boyo — including showing a published trip to other users and rendering its share page. That licence ends when you delete the content, save for copies already made by other users or held in routine backups. You keep the right to post what you post: don't upload things you have no rights to.
Rules
Don't use Boyo to post or do any of the following:
- Harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone.
- Hate speech, or content attacking people over race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Sexually explicit material, or anything sexualising minors.
- Graphic violence, or content encouraging self-harm.
- Spam, scams, or fake ratings and recommendations.
- Other people's private information, or content you don't have the rights to.
- Anything illegal, or anything that breaks, overloads or reverse-engineers the service.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
Reporting and moderation
Every trip, spot, comment and profile has a Report action, and every profile has Block. We review reports and aim to act within 24 hours — removing content, warning, suspending or removing the account behind it. Blocking is immediate and doesn't wait for us: a blocked account disappears from your feed, search and profile, and can't follow, like or comment on you. Blocked accounts are listed under Profile → Settings → Blocked Accounts.
We may remove content or accounts that break these rules, and we don't have to explain every decision in advance.
Recommendations are opinions
Ratings, notes and recommendations on Boyo are other travellers' personal opinions. We don't verify them, we're not paid for them, and we're not responsible for what a hotel, restaurant or operator does. Check anything that matters before you book.
The service
Boyo is free today. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we'll give notice of material changes where we reasonably can. Boyo is provided "as is", without warranties, to the fullest extent the law allows; to the same extent, our liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Ending it
You can deactivate or delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
Changes
We'll update the date above when these terms change; continuing to use Boyo means accepting the new version.
